You have the vision.
Let's build the retreat
around it.
You've built something real - a following, a teaching practice, a community that trusts you. And you're ready for the next level: a multi-day retreat that becomes a central, recurring part of how you work.
But when you look at everything it actually takes - the venue search, the budget, the pricing, the marketing plan, the logistics, the contracts - it's a lot to carry alone. Especially when you're still running everything else.
This is where Kenko comes in. Not as a support service. As a genuine co-creator. We build this together, from first brief to final handover and I'm as invested in the outcome as you are.
95% of Retreat Design clients return for their next retreat.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You've started planning and already feel overwhelmed by how many moving parts there are
Venue searching has swallowed more hours than you expected, and you still don't have the right answer
You've run events before but never felt truly confident in the business side
Marketing feels like a whole other job, and you're already stretched thin
You know what you want to create. You know who it's for.
But somewhere between the vision and the execution, it gets complicated.
You're not sure how to price your retreat — too high and it won't sell, too low and it's not worth running
You're doing this on top of everything else, and the project keeps slipping
You don't want to spend six months building something that falls apart in week one
You want to do this once, do it right, and be able to repeat it
The retreat is ready in your head.
Everything else is standing in the way.
You don't need more information or another template.
You need a partner who has done this before, who can see the whole picture, and who will carry the complexity with you.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
The retreat you've been thinking about — finally happening. Properly.
Imagine finishing the project with a retreat that sold well, ran smoothly, and left your participants wanting to come back. A retreat you'd be happy to run again next year because the systems are already in place.
That's not an accident. That's what good planning looks like.
A venue you're genuinely excited about, secured at the right price and on your terms
A budget that makes sense and a pricing strategy you can explain and defend
A marketing plan that builds momentum from day one — not a scramble in the final weeks
Logistics that are handled, tracked, and handed over without loose ends
The mental space to actually lead your retreat — because someone else is holding the operational detail
A relationship you can build on when you're ready to do it again

ESCALATION PLAN
WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH
Retreat designer.
Strategist. Partner.
I'm Elena, the founder of Kenko. I've spent over a decade designing and delivering retreats across Europe and beyond working with yoga teachers, coaches, wellness professionals and facilitators who want to create experiences that actually work.
I've planned retreats that have sold out. I've also seen what happens when the foundations aren't right - the pricing that doesn't hold, the timelines that leave no room for error, the logistics that unravel in week one. I know what makes the difference.
What I bring to a Retreat Design project isn't just operational support. It's strategic thinking, honest feedback, and the kind of experience you can only get from having done this many times, with the care of someone who is genuinely invested in your outcome.
I'm not a virtual assistant or a logistics coordinator. I'm a retreat designer and strategist who also handles the details.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
The people who've been
through it speak for themselves.
These are real clients. Real retreats. Real results.
“Elena provided first class, varied support that surpassed my expectations by a mile! Of course she helped me find what was a perfect venue for me! But I was also supported in marketing, recruitment, schedule building, and due in the retreat. I always felt she was there. She even helped me with my confidence as I built a programme of classes, coaching me to stay true to my teaching style and not try to invent other ways of being just for the retreat. She's amazing”
- Najia
“I had an idea but I knew the process was going to feel like a spider's web — I really needed guidance. Kenko Hub made my dreams come true. I blink and suddenly I have my first sold-out retreat. This has changed my life. I can't think of my business without this support anymore.”
- Krissy
“I could not do any of this without you. Thank you so much for all your hard work — I know you do it because you're great at your job, but also because you genuinely care. I see your effort, and I appreciate it so much. I'm just so happy to work with you, and to continue working with you well into the future.”
- Alex
"You had skills and contacts that I would have to spend years developing myself - it made perfect sense to work together. You built a budget, programme and pricing strategy that actually make sense. And when I told you I wanted somewhere affordable, relaxed and modern, you found the PERFECT venue.”
— FabiolaTHE INVESTMENT
Structured around
your results.
The fee structure is intentional. A fixed initiation fee confirms the project. The planning fee is tied to revenue — so the commercial incentive is fully aligned from day one.
FEE STRUCTURE
£400
Project initiation fee — due on signing, non-refundable. Confirms the start date and secures the partnership.
12%
Planning fee — 12% of total ticket revenue from the retreat
£1,800
Minimum fee guarantee — applies if 12% of revenue falls below this threshold
◷ Project timeline: 6–9 months from signing to retreat delivery
→ Cancellation: the minimum fee of £1,800 remains payable at any stage. Fees are calculated based on work completed at the point of cancellation.
WHY REVENUE BASED?
Because it aligns the incentive. When your retreat sells well, Kenko earns more. That means the pricing strategy, the marketing plan, and the sales support are all in my direct interest to get right — not just yours.
OPTIONAL ADD ON
On-site support: I manage every detail of retreat delivery on the ground, so you can focus entirely on leading the experience. Daily rate applies, excluding travel, accommodation and meals. Ask about availability when you enquire.
NATURAL ENTRY POINTS
Many flagship clients have started with The Groundwork consultation or The One/Two-Day Event package. If you've worked with Kenko before and you're ready to scale, this is the natural next step.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is right for you if —
You're a yoga teacher, coach, facilitator, or wellness professional with an existing community
You want to create a multi-day retreat as a recurring part of your business — not a one-off test
You have a vision and you're ready to invest in making it happen properly
You've been planning this for a while but keep getting stuck on the complexity
You want strategic input, not just operational support
You want to be able to run this retreat again next year — and the year after
This might not be the right fit right now if —
You're still testing whether a retreat is the right direction — The Groundwork consultation is a better starting point
You need venue support specifically, without full planning — The Shortlist handles that
You're planning a one or two-day event rather than a multi-day retreat — the Event Package is designed for that
You're not ready to commit to the investment and the timeline — this is a 6–9 month working relationship
-
A coordinator executes tasks. This service starts with strategy — the right venue for your audience, the right price for your numbers, the right marketing sequence for your community. I bring over a decade of retreat-specific expertise to every decision, not just the ability to follow a list. The operational detail comes after the thinking is done, not instead of it.
-
Not at all — this is often when working with an experienced partner makes the biggest difference. Starting with the right foundations means you won't spend months undoing early decisions. Many Retreat Design clients are running their first retreat. What matters is that you have an existing community, a clear vision, and the readiness to commit.
-
Everything across all four phases — venue research and negotiation, full budget build, pricing strategy, programme design, supplier outreach, the complete marketing plan, logistics management, and final handover. Plus the monthly 1:1 sessions and free resources.
-
This is exactly why the marketing plan, pricing strategy, and sales tracking matter. If momentum stalls, there's a boost strategy built in and we adjust in real time. The revenue-based fee means I'm actively invested in your retreat filling well.
-
Yes, subject to availability. It can be added at any point and is most useful for first-time retreat leaders or retreats with complex logistics. Daily rate applies, excluding travel, accommodation and meals.
-
Yes. Most of the work is remote — monthly calls on Google Meet, a shared project document, and WhatsApp for day-to-day. I work with clients across Europe and beyond. Payment is in GBP.
-
If you have an existing community, a retreat vision, and the readiness to invest — both financially and in time — you're probably ready. If you're still at the "is this even viable?" stage, The Groundwork is the right first step. If you're not sure, reach out and we'll work it out together.
Questions you might have
