• The Groundwork

    One focused session.

Get the foundations right before you build.

You have an idea. A retreat you've been thinking about for months. A workshop you know your community needs. An offsite that could genuinely shift something for a team.

And yet — you haven't moved. Not because you're not ready. But because you don't know where to start, what it's actually going to cost, or whether the numbers will ever make sense.

So it stays in your head. Waiting.

The Groundwork is designed for exactly this moment.

It's a single, structured session — focused entirely on your situation — that gives you the clarity, the plan, and the confidence to move forward. No overwhelm. No guesswork. Just clear, practical guidance from someone who has designed and delivered retreats professionally for over a decade.

Choose the focus that fits where you are right now.

Is this you?

You're a yoga teacher, coach, facilitator, or wellness professional. You've built something real — a following, a community, a practice — and now you're ready to take it somewhere. A retreat. A workshop. A multi-day event.

But somewhere between the idea and the action, things get murky. You might be thinking:

  • "I have no idea if this is even financially viable."

  • "I don't know what order to do things in — so I haven't started."

  • "I've looked at the numbers but I can't make them work."

  • "What if I price it too high and no one books? Or too low and I lose money?"

  • "I keep planning to plan — but nothing is actually happening."

  • "I don't want to waste months on something that's set up wrong from the start."

The idea feels good. You know it could work. You just can't see the whole picture clearly enough to commit — and that gap between inspiration and action is costing you time, energy, and momentum.

You don't need more information. You need someone to look at your specific situation and tell you exactly what to do.

What changes after a session

Imagine finishing a 90-minute call and walking away with this:

You know exactly whether your retreat or event is viable — not in theory, but based on your actual numbers, your audience, and your goals. You understand what it will take. And you have a clear, ordered plan for making it happen.

Or: you have a working budget that's built on reality, not optimism. You know your breakeven. You know what you need to charge to make a profit — and you understand how different scenarios play out before you've spent a penny.

The uncertainty lifts. The decision becomes easy. And the project that's been sitting in your head for months finally has a real path forward.

That's what The Groundwork delivers — in a single, focused session.

Who you're working with

I'm Elena, the founder of Kenko. I've spent over a decade designing and delivering retreats across the world - working with yoga teachers, coaches, wellness brands, and teams who want to create experiences that actually work.

I've planned retreats that have sold out. I've also seen what happens when the foundations aren't right — the pricing that doesn't cover costs, the timelines that leave no room for error, the logistics that unravel. I know what makes the difference, and I built The Groundwork so you don't have to learn it the hard way.

This session is practical, direct, and built entirely around your situation. No templates applied blindly. No generic advice. Just clear thinking, honest feedback, and a concrete next step.

FOCUS 01

The Plan

For anyone with a retreat, workshop, event or offsite idea who needs clarity on viability and what it actually takes to deliver it well.

What's included:

  • 90-minute 1:1 call — we go deep on your idea, your goals, your audience, and your constraints

  • Pre-call questionnaire — so we use every minute of our time together well

  • Action plan document — a written summary of prioritised next steps, tailored to your situation

  • Sequenced checklist — a clear breakdown of what needs to happen and in what order

  • 14-day follow-up — a 20-minute check-in call to review progress and answer what's come up

This is right for you if:

  • You have a retreat or event idea that's been sitting in your head for too long

  • You're not sure if it's actually viable or where to even begin

  • You want a concrete plan, not more general advice

  • You're about to invest time and money and want to make sure you're doing it right

FOCUS 02

The Budget

For anyone who needs to build a solid, realistic budget and understand their numbers before they commit.

What's included:

  • Pre-call questionnaire — so I understand your event before we start

  • Working budget document — yours to keep and use independently, fully editable

  • Pricing strategy and profit margin breakdown — so you know exactly what to charge and why

  • Scenario planning — best case, minimum viable, and contingency, so you can make decisions with confidence

This is right for you if:

  • You've been guessing at your numbers or avoiding them altogether
